Apple Crème

Sweet enough to enjoy by itself, but if you spoon this over vanilla ice cream we
won't tell.

  • 4 large apples, cored and sliced
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup Plain Mountain High Yoghurt*
  • Honey (optional)
  • Cinnamon (optional)

Melt the butter in a small skillet and add the apples. Sauté on low heat until apples are softened, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat and place in a medium glass or ceramic bowl. Spoon the yoghurt over the apples, and toss to coat apple slices evenly. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired. Serve warm.

*Yoghurt cheese can be used in place of yoghurt for this recipe.

Makes 4 servings.
