Lassi
India’s refreshing yoghurt drinks are called lassi. They can be fruit-based or simply
a mix of yoghurt and spices or sweet flavorings. Be sure to use ice-cold water.
Here are a variety of flavors to try.

MINT LASSI
  • ½ cup Plain Mountain High Yoghurt
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint
  • ½ cup ice water

Blend all ingredients in a blender on high speed until frothy. Serve immediately.

Makes 1 serving.

 


SALTY LASSI

  • ½ cup Plain Mountain High Yoghurt
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ cup ice water

Blend all ingredients in a blender on high speed until frothy. Serve immediately.

Makes 1 serving.

 

SWEET LASSI

  • ½ cup Plain Mountain High Yoghurt
  • 1½ tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon rose essence
  • ½ cup ice water

Blend all ingredients in a blender on high speed until frothy. Serve immediately.

Makes 1 serving.

 

MANGO LASSI

  • 1/3 cup Plain Mountain High Yoghurt
  • 1½ tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ cup fresh mango cubes
  • 1/3 cup ice water

Blend all ingredients in a blender on high speed until frothy. Serve immediately.

Makes 1 serving.

 

VANILLA LASSI

  • ½ cup Plain Mountain High Yoghurt
  • 1½ tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup ice water

Blend all ingredients in a blender on high speed until frothy. Serve immediately.

Makes 1 serving.
