Chocolate Cherry Parfait


A triple winner, this luscious dessert can satisfy your sweet tooth and provide almost one-third of your daily calcium needs. And because it calls for frozen cherries, you can make it year round.

 

  • recipe_main_chocolate_cherry_parfait1 3.4-oz. box instant chocolate pudding, prepared according to package directions with reduced fat (2%) milk
  • 3 1/2 cups Vanilla Mountain High Yoghurt
  • 3 cups frozen sweet black cherries, thawed
  • 18 additional cherries for garnish
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Place 1/3 cup pudding into each of six 10-oz. glasses. Add 1/3 cup yoghurt on top of each pudding layer. Add ½ cup cherries on top of each yoghurt layer. Top with 1/4 cup yoghurt and spread evenly. Garnish parfaits with cocoa powder and 3 cherries. Chill well before serving.
