Horseradish Sauce

The classic accompaniment for prime rib or roast beef, updated with a few welcome surprises, like replacing high-fat sour cream with yoghurt. One taste and you’ll ask, “Why didn’t I think of this before?”

Ingredient List

  • 6 green onions
  • 1 cup Mountain High® plain yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons maple-flavored syrup

Preparation

  1. Cut off green portion of green onions; save for another use. Finely chop remaining white portion of green onions. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours to blend flavors.
